IN SEARCH OF A BETTER TRUTH
I work with clients who have been overwhelmed by one kind of truth: they know why they can't have what they want. They come to me stressed out by the truths they have been told about their bodies or their situations. They often have a lot of evidence that says their lives or their bodies are outside their control. They know why they cannot have babies or health or even why they cannot find things they have lost. We do not ignore any of that truth, but if that truth were all that is possible, my clients would not need me.
My clients need me because I hold on to the hope that they can find a better truth within them, a truth that will support them in growing and healing and living their lives. Together, we act as though hope were true and invite their unconscious minds to uncover the strengths that will make it so. Although they do not always get what they want, they do always find that they are stronger, more creative and more resilient than they believed. Through hope, we make our way to a better truth.
Kathleen Milligan is a practitioner based in St. Catherine’s, Ontario, Canada. She was deeply inspired and trained with Eastburn Hypnosis in Denver in 2001. That education was her introduction to quality work in hypnosis and served as an excellent launchpad; she has since gone on to certify additionally as an EFT and Masters NLP practitioner. She established her independent practice, Action Hypnosis, in 2007.
Kathleen serves a wide range of clients in South Eastern Ontario who want to create positive hopeful changes in their lives. She has worked extensively with women around issues of fertility, childbirth, body image, and health. She launch a ground-breaking fertility program which helps women understand and resolve the complex issues that surround fertility, body image, and self-esteem.
